RMCAT Training Complex

Here we see the RMCAT dojo which contains 2400 square feet of open mat space. The bathroom (400 sq.ft.) is seen in the foreground and is attached directly to the training area.

The dormitories are also partially visible to the right of the main Quantset hut dojo (1300 sq.ft.). Looking closely you may be able to see the six skylights that help illuminate the dormitory hallway.

Here we see the Tarayall “river”, or “creek” that runs through the ranch property. This view is from the deck off the main front entrance to the dojo. Beaver dams are often visible here.

Two large “bucks” lock horns while the roof of the RMCAT dojo is just visible at the upper left of the photo. You will almost certainly observe wildlife during your stay here.

The sleeping rooms are equipped with “bunk beds”, but if you feel you do not want to share a room with another attendant of the RMCAT course other arrangements can often ( but not always) be made. The rooms have individual heat controls so if you like to sleep in a cool room or a “comfortably” warm room it’s your choice.

In this view of the training complex we see one of the doors to the dojo itself and to the left of that one of the outside entrances to the bathroom and shower room. The octagonal window to the right of the frame is a window in the last bedroom on the southern facing side of the dormitory.

The bathroom is spacious, well equipped and designed for more than reasonable privacy with individual shower stalls. Even from the bathroom you will enjoy some rather spectacular mountain views.

As viewed from the Dojo deck, early Fall turns the Aspens to a bright gold.

Fresh water can be heard as it runs through the stones of this water garden adjacent to the dojo.

Meals are first class at RMCAT and we can accommodate vegetarian diets as well.

Breakfast is Served! As are all your meals right here at the RMCAT center. Your single training fee covers all your meals and lodging here in Colorado at the RMCAT Training Center.
